The 5 African students with Ms. Catherine Ms. Catherine Germier-Hamel, Millennium Destinations, and the UNWTO ST-EP Foundation'staff

UNWTO ST-EP Foundation hosted an International Workshop on Sustainable Tourism for Eliminating Poverty-Millennium Villages as Tourism Destination (MVTD) project at the ST-EP Foundation's headquarter on June 7th, 2014.

Participants of the workshop included the five Master’s students of Park Chung-hee School of Policy and Saemaul in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, from Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, Sudan, and Tanzania.

Catherine Germier-Hamel, Sustainable Tourism Consultant,  made a lecture, introducing the UNWTO ST-EP Foundation, the Millennium Villages as Tourism Destinations (MVTD) project, followed by the presentation of UN MDGs Thank You Small Library by Mr. Shin-guk Kim, Director of Special Programs at the ST-EP Foundation.
